Christmas is only in a few weeks!

Wow this year went by fast. I am sad to say that I didn't get in as much card making this year as I would have liked to, but I predict there will be more card making in my future! Regardless, I have always enjoyed designing for workshops, and there seems to be a phase where you go big and have a million layers, then as time goes on you're looking for more CAS - casual and simple - designs that are easier to complete in workshops and still have that presence that your previous cards had.

Without further ado, the December constant campaign! Planners Gonna Plan!

Are you one of those people who prefer paper planners over iPhones and modern day technology? CTMH has an exciting bundle and new product to share with you this month - a planner! Doesn't it look downright gorgeous in the picture? The bundle offered during December for 2016 includes planner pages, the coordinating roller stamp and the Every Day Life album all for $35.95CAD. That's a savings of over 15% off! Track your shopping lists, menus, appointments, and anything else that needs tracking. Heck, this is even more appealing than the phone I use to keep track of my appointments. I love my iPhone calendar, but we won't get into how complicated it is for shopping lists, meal planning and even tracking spending. And yes there's probably four different apps to do it but what good is an app when you're on a plane with no wifi?

I don't know about you but I'm off to get myself one!

And of course last but not least, December's SOTM -  Candlelight Garden.

What a beautiful stamp to show your friends that you are grateful for their presence in your life! There's lots of opportunities to color with the Shin Han Touch markers too or you can keep it clean and simple and just use the outline. With a qualifying $50 order this stamp can be yours for $6 more.

Finally, I'd like to thank all my wonderful clients for their continued business this year. Without you I wouldn't be here so thank you - for your support and motivating me to design for all of you for our bi-annual workshops. I wish you the Happiest of Holidays and a Happy New Year and look forward to seeing you in 2016!!

October Goodies!!

Somehow I blinked and the leaves had all turned colors and there's a new nip in the air. October must be here. And there's that whiff of some pumpkin treat just around the corner.

First of all, thank you to everyone who came to my New Catalog Reveal party! It was great to catch up with you and thanks for helping me clear out some of my stash that I haven't used in a long time. For those of you who couldn't make it, I do have a few things on clearance that I'll put up somewhere soon! Included are full and partial CTMH paper packs, a few retired and used stamp sets, and a bunch of ribbon that didn't make it into the new catalog.

Congratulations to Tammy who went home with the Chocolate Party! stamp set and to Laena who went home with the new Confetti embossing folder!

If you weren't able to stop by and get a catalog, contact me and we'll arrange for one to make it's way to you.

The campaign this month is It's In The Bag! If you love CTMH products as much as I do and would love to have your own little business, now is the time to sign up!

The beautiful bag you see there on the chair is the one given to 2015 convention attendees this year when they went to Disneyland! Even I don't have my hands on one because I couldn't get away. Of course you also have all the items in that mysterious "Open Me" box to get you well on your way to earning $$ and sharing CTMH with all your friends. Contact me for more details!

Of course next up is the Stamp of the Month : Twinkle!

With a qualifying order of $50 CAD, this stamp set can be yours for only 6$ more! It makes me think of Christmas already and I can smell the gingerbread somewhere in the air... I confess, I absolutely LOVE Christmas. I'm going to need to get my hands on this cute little set.

This segways perfectly into... Christmas Card Workshops!!! I thought I would put the bug in your ear about an upcoming Christmas Card workshop in the second half of November. Either Nov 21, 22 or Nov 28, 29 are currently up for consideration.

I can also do card packs too where everything is precut and pre-stamped and all you have to do is assemble!

Hope you are enjoying the beautiful fall weather outside.

Anniversary Invite!

This has been kicking around on my phone for long enough that it's time to post about it! I was approached back in April/May to create an anniversary invitation that resembled a wedding invitation. The pattern for the folio is available on PInterest.

This is the dimensional photo I took for my Instagram feed. It shows that I lifted up the different shells to give them more dimension, and the only photo where I tied the invite shut with ribbon from Michaels which matched my theme perfectly. I was going for shells and beach as requested.

This is the inside - going with the sandy beach theme, I used Desert Sand and Crystal Blue type colors with a slightly darker brown from Michaels. The reason for the RSVP being such a small white rectangle is that I originally messed up something I had stamped on it but it meant that having the shells embossed as a mat against it, turned it into something spectacular.

See mistakes are worth it sometimes.

Here is the outside of the folio, closed up but ribbon untied. The blue shell is a Michaels stamp and the brown shell is from CTMH : Quick Cards - Shell (retired), which is the same one I used for the inside and masked all the text on the stamp so it wouldn't show up. And the swirls are from Love Life (retired).

Finally, I finished it off with a bunch of pearls.

The sentiment, if you're wondering is something I found online to go with the invite, printed it off on vellum paper and trimmed it. Then I used vellum tape and hid the visible squares under the shells.

September Goodies!!!

Holy smokes where did the summer go? It's feeling a bit like fall these days. A few exciting things to tell you about in the month of September.

First of all is the New Catalog Release Party!! Are you excited? I am - there's a lot of new products out including new toys to play with like watercolors and watercolor paper! That's gotta make an appearance in the Christmas workshop that I need to start planning.

Date: Sept 20th
Time: Open House format, anytime between 1:00 - 3:00 PM
Address: Contact me!

I'll be raffling off some CTMH stuff to whoever walks in the door and there's wine, chocolate and cookies if you needed a further incentive to stop by! Look forward to seeing you all there!

This month is my favorite month because it's National Stamping Month! Exclusive to this month only three C-size stamp sets have been released for traditional scrapbooking, cardmaking, and pocket scrapbooking.

I'm really enjoying the beautiful handwritten-like sentiments; I can never have enough sentiments to choose from and all the accompanying images. They can be purchased for $16.50 each or all three for $41.50 which is a savings of $8.00!

Last, but never least is the gorgeous September SOTM : Paper Garden. These flowers are perfect for adorning all types of cards.

I really like how the script on them is very elegant, and some of these flowers as you can see with the red line around them have a corresponding Cricut shape in the Artiste cartridge.

Hope you are enjoying the last bits of summer!

August Campaign and New Catalog Release Party

First of all, a huge thank you to all my ladies for a successful workshop! It was the first time that someone else hosted the workshop at their home - thank you very much to Tammy! I might have forgotten a few pieces but it seems like other than one mad dash back home, everything went well and she is only a stone's throw away from my house.

This month's Constant Campaign gives you a sneak peek into some of the storage options that are coming with the new catalog September 1st!

To qualify, simply place an order for the new marker roll-up at full retail price for $21.25 and receive the new D-Sized stamp Balloon Wishes free! I can't wait to get my hands on this; I have amassed a few Shin Han Touch markers now and they are living in a ziplock baggie. It stores up to 25 markers.

Or... (yes there's more)

Place an order for the new accessory roll-up at full retail price for $22.75 and receive two new Base & Bling style sheets (Affirmations and Lovely Blooms) for free! I have a massive embellishments box already but this roll up would be so handy for getting my workshop accessories from place to place without carting that big box around.

Shh... don't tell anyone ... but I have a massive embellishments addiction. I always wind up buying stuff that I'll wind up using a few months down the road.

Onto our beautiful August SOTM: Framed

Yes, with the new catalog there are new pricing changes, but it doesn't change the fact that if you place an order of $50, you can get this beautiful set still for 5$ more!

Speaking of pricing changes, this is the last month to get your orders in before prices go up! I'm going to head over and do the same thing myself!

As well, there is a new paper packet with accompanying embellishments and Compliments stickers available for purchase this month - Zoe!! It's got some beautiful patterns for girl cards.

I know that these papers would shine in either birthday or Baby Congratulation cards and same with the Enamel and Glitter Duos Green Triangle Puff stickers as well. There's my addiction talking.

And saving the fun news for last... I will be hosting a New Catalog Release party sometime in September at my house. Date and time to be announced. But... what I will promise:

* New Catalogs!!
* Lots of giggling and chatting!!
* Cookies
* Wine
* Chocolate
* Drawing for "Chocolate Party" stamp set!

I look forward to seeing you all of you soon at the party!

Workshop Cards!!!

I finally sat down and got them all done. As per feedback from the last workshop, I opted to stay a bit more simpler this time without a ton of techniques, since I've already taught you most of the more standard ones.

These cards can all be used as birthday or whatever other occasion you wish to make them for. The paper packs featured this time is Seaside (female) and Wanderful (male). They cost $3.00 each and include an envelope to take home with you.

Workshops will be hosted for August 9th and August 31st at a different location to be provided when you sign up for the workshop. It will run the usual hours from 1:00 - 5:00PM. Thank you to both hosts that graciously offered up their home to host this.

A Wedding Card and back from Portugal

I finally have a card to post - and I am in the middle of working on workshop cards. Lisbon and Albuferia was gorgeous, hot, and I had a great time with family. Below is an image from Lisbon; there are plenty of little shops and cafes along all the walking streets to stop for a cold glass of sangria or beer.

Little cafe in Lisbon, Portugal

I am also changing up my method of posting to try and keep up with posting even with my busy lifestyle. I will be of course sharing the photos but I will only list the stamp sets that I have used unless if I cannot recall the name. If you would like more information I can always answer that in the comments below.

Without further ado, the pictures of the card for my friend's wedding back in April.

I always enjoy using retired paper packs when applicable. I love using the clean colors of red and white with some accents of grey.

This is to showcase the layers on the card; I don't know what I'd do without foam tape. I'm addicted to it but I always like to have something pop up on a card. One day I will have to try a CAS format and see how well I stick to the guidelines.

I brought the birds of the set inside the card. The reason why I chose this sentiment is because the bride has always danced to the beat of her own drum, and have had many wonderful experiences since of which some I have been a part of. That is from a different set - "Your Own Kind of Wonderful" which is available in Annual Inspirations until August 31st.

The set with the birds was part of Seasonal Expressions 1 and has since been retired. But, there are more awesome sets in Seasonal Expressions 2, available until August 31.

Happy Stampeding from Cowtown!

Only I...

would come home from one vacation in sunny Mexico and start thinking about the next one in two weeks. But in my defense it's a birthday party for family. Below is a fuzzy photo shot at night from the pool while everyone's busy getting ready for dinner.

The pool at nighttime with the sea in the background.
Cancun, Mexico

Anyway, I wanted to update you on all of June's specials! I have card images sitting on my phone that I need to post but haven't gotten around to it, and I can't believe we're in mid-June already.

This month features the My Crush books! They're awesome for quick scrapbooking or even travel journaling. I'm going to grab one for my next trip; I used to grab all the flyers and brochures to scrapbook with when I was younger; they were free!

Each book has it's own specially printed backgrounds with a coil binding and comes with matching assortments for you to customize the book to how you see fit. And the best part? You get a free stamp set which matches all of that!

You can find all the photos for these products in the 2014-2015 Annual Inspirations Catalog!

Speaking of catalogues, the Annual Inspirations catalog has been extended from July to August, but after that some products will be retired to make room for new product! If you'd like to get this list, contact me and I will be happy to send that to you.

Last, but never least is the stamp of the month: Ice Cream Dream.

I have to get this one for the sentiment alone; ice cream is perfect for everything from bad days to celebratory days! Isn't that puppy dog totally cute for cards and other projects?

I'm enjoying the beautiful June weather, I hope you are too!

Last but not least of course is the Stamp of the Month : Just Sayin'.

Perfect for My Crush Books or a little addition to your cards, these little blocky sentiments and bubbles are easy to cut out of cardstock and pop on to your next layout! With a minimum purchase of $50.00CAD, this can be yours for $5 more!
