January Goodies & Happy New Year!!

A new year is already upon us and I hope it has treated you well so far. There are some exciting things to tell you about!

First of all to celebrate National Papercrafting Month - Live Your Day Pocket Scrapbooking cards!

If you picked up the planner sometime in the last while since it came out, you know how beautiful and versatile it is. I'm currently using mine as a meal planner and workout tracker along with a few birthdays and whatnot. Now, if you want to extend that planner into a bit of a journal or add some scrapbooking pages for a few memorable days each month you can! This collection will coordinate with the planner or if you just bought the folio without the planner pages, you can have your very own smaller scrapbook!

This collection is only available January 1 - 31st, so get them while you can for 10.50 CAD.

Secondly the new Seasonal Expressions is out! There are so many upcoming cute SOTM in the catalog along with new products!

Along with the new products is a new tool! I know you are all familiar with the embossing folders by now that was featured recently in some Christmas card workshops, but did you know the Cuttlebug can do a little bit more? They are debuting ThinCuts in this catalog which are to be paired with Cuttlebug to be able to cut out shapes.

I am still working out whether or not you need a C plate (which doesn't come with your Cuttlebug package) or if you can easily just pick up a second B plate so that it doesn't crack the plates when you push the whole sandwich through. The default CB package comes with a machine, one B plate, and two A plates.

Saving the best for last - the January SOTM: Beloved Bouquet!

Of course this looks very Valentine's Day-ish for those of us who have a million VD sets already. But, this set not only looks like it's versatile past that with the flowers, but also that it has the correct shading every time with the coordinating background solid stamps. With a qualifying 50$ CAD order this set can be yours for 6$ more!

Happy New Year! I'll let you know about what I discover with the ThinCuts!

October Goodies!!

Somehow I blinked and the leaves had all turned colors and there's a new nip in the air. October must be here. And there's that whiff of some pumpkin treat just around the corner.

First of all, thank you to everyone who came to my New Catalog Reveal party! It was great to catch up with you and thanks for helping me clear out some of my stash that I haven't used in a long time. For those of you who couldn't make it, I do have a few things on clearance that I'll put up somewhere soon! Included are full and partial CTMH paper packs, a few retired and used stamp sets, and a bunch of ribbon that didn't make it into the new catalog.

Congratulations to Tammy who went home with the Chocolate Party! stamp set and to Laena who went home with the new Confetti embossing folder!

If you weren't able to stop by and get a catalog, contact me and we'll arrange for one to make it's way to you.

The campaign this month is It's In The Bag! If you love CTMH products as much as I do and would love to have your own little business, now is the time to sign up!

The beautiful bag you see there on the chair is the one given to 2015 convention attendees this year when they went to Disneyland! Even I don't have my hands on one because I couldn't get away. Of course you also have all the items in that mysterious "Open Me" box to get you well on your way to earning $$ and sharing CTMH with all your friends. Contact me for more details!

Of course next up is the Stamp of the Month : Twinkle!

With a qualifying order of $50 CAD, this stamp set can be yours for only 6$ more! It makes me think of Christmas already and I can smell the gingerbread somewhere in the air... I confess, I absolutely LOVE Christmas. I'm going to need to get my hands on this cute little set.

This segways perfectly into... Christmas Card Workshops!!! I thought I would put the bug in your ear about an upcoming Christmas Card workshop in the second half of November. Either Nov 21, 22 or Nov 28, 29 are currently up for consideration.

I can also do card packs too where everything is precut and pre-stamped and all you have to do is assemble!

Hope you are enjoying the beautiful fall weather outside.

September Goodies!!!

Holy smokes where did the summer go? It's feeling a bit like fall these days. A few exciting things to tell you about in the month of September.

First of all is the New Catalog Release Party!! Are you excited? I am - there's a lot of new products out including new toys to play with like watercolors and watercolor paper! That's gotta make an appearance in the Christmas workshop that I need to start planning.

Date: Sept 20th
Time: Open House format, anytime between 1:00 - 3:00 PM
Address: Contact me!

I'll be raffling off some CTMH stuff to whoever walks in the door and there's wine, chocolate and cookies if you needed a further incentive to stop by! Look forward to seeing you all there!

This month is my favorite month because it's National Stamping Month! Exclusive to this month only three C-size stamp sets have been released for traditional scrapbooking, cardmaking, and pocket scrapbooking.

I'm really enjoying the beautiful handwritten-like sentiments; I can never have enough sentiments to choose from and all the accompanying images. They can be purchased for $16.50 each or all three for $41.50 which is a savings of $8.00!

Last, but never least is the gorgeous September SOTM : Paper Garden. These flowers are perfect for adorning all types of cards.

I really like how the script on them is very elegant, and some of these flowers as you can see with the red line around them have a corresponding Cricut shape in the Artiste cartridge.

Hope you are enjoying the last bits of summer!

August Campaign and New Catalog Release Party

First of all, a huge thank you to all my ladies for a successful workshop! It was the first time that someone else hosted the workshop at their home - thank you very much to Tammy! I might have forgotten a few pieces but it seems like other than one mad dash back home, everything went well and she is only a stone's throw away from my house.

This month's Constant Campaign gives you a sneak peek into some of the storage options that are coming with the new catalog September 1st!

To qualify, simply place an order for the new marker roll-up at full retail price for $21.25 and receive the new D-Sized stamp Balloon Wishes free! I can't wait to get my hands on this; I have amassed a few Shin Han Touch markers now and they are living in a ziplock baggie. It stores up to 25 markers.

Or... (yes there's more)

Place an order for the new accessory roll-up at full retail price for $22.75 and receive two new Base & Bling style sheets (Affirmations and Lovely Blooms) for free! I have a massive embellishments box already but this roll up would be so handy for getting my workshop accessories from place to place without carting that big box around.

Shh... don't tell anyone ... but I have a massive embellishments addiction. I always wind up buying stuff that I'll wind up using a few months down the road.

Onto our beautiful August SOTM: Framed

Yes, with the new catalog there are new pricing changes, but it doesn't change the fact that if you place an order of $50, you can get this beautiful set still for 5$ more!

Speaking of pricing changes, this is the last month to get your orders in before prices go up! I'm going to head over and do the same thing myself!

As well, there is a new paper packet with accompanying embellishments and Compliments stickers available for purchase this month - Zoe!! It's got some beautiful patterns for girl cards.

I know that these papers would shine in either birthday or Baby Congratulation cards and same with the Enamel and Glitter Duos Green Triangle Puff stickers as well. There's my addiction talking.

And saving the fun news for last... I will be hosting a New Catalog Release party sometime in September at my house. Date and time to be announced. But... what I will promise:

* New Catalogs!!
* Lots of giggling and chatting!!
* Cookies
* Wine
* Chocolate
* Drawing for "Chocolate Party" stamp set!

I look forward to seeing you all of you soon at the party!

Only I...

would come home from one vacation in sunny Mexico and start thinking about the next one in two weeks. But in my defense it's a birthday party for family. Below is a fuzzy photo shot at night from the pool while everyone's busy getting ready for dinner.

The pool at nighttime with the sea in the background.
Cancun, Mexico

Anyway, I wanted to update you on all of June's specials! I have card images sitting on my phone that I need to post but haven't gotten around to it, and I can't believe we're in mid-June already.

This month features the My Crush books! They're awesome for quick scrapbooking or even travel journaling. I'm going to grab one for my next trip; I used to grab all the flyers and brochures to scrapbook with when I was younger; they were free!

Each book has it's own specially printed backgrounds with a coil binding and comes with matching assortments for you to customize the book to how you see fit. And the best part? You get a free stamp set which matches all of that!

You can find all the photos for these products in the 2014-2015 Annual Inspirations Catalog!

Speaking of catalogues, the Annual Inspirations catalog has been extended from July to August, but after that some products will be retired to make room for new product! If you'd like to get this list, contact me and I will be happy to send that to you.

Last, but never least is the stamp of the month: Ice Cream Dream.

I have to get this one for the sentiment alone; ice cream is perfect for everything from bad days to celebratory days! Isn't that puppy dog totally cute for cards and other projects?

I'm enjoying the beautiful June weather, I hope you are too!

What a crazy month!!

May is here with rain, snow and beautiful sunshine, but that's how it's always like here. No shortage of interesting weather and all fleeting with each moment.

It's National Scrapbooking Month! CTMH would like to celebrate this with you by offering two exciting things that are available only in the month of May!

First off is a beautiful NSM Taste of Summer paper packet for $8.95CAD

Head off to my OBA to see the full set of designs for this beautiful paper packet! Patterns and colors are exclusive to this packet only and usable for every occasion. Bright, summery and perky, they offer a burst of color for even the gloomiest of days.

And just because this paper packet wouldn't be complete without a companion, there's a matching stamp set!!

You can't get any more adorable than this - I'm head over heels for those strawberries, but I have always had a soft spot for strawberries. Only available for the month of May as well, this is $19.75 and a perfect companion to the paper packet. Get yours today!

Last but not least of course is the Stamp of the Month : Just Sayin'.

Perfect for My Crush Books or a little addition to your cards, these little blocky sentiments and bubbles are easy to cut out of cardstock and pop on to your next layout! With a minimum purchase of $50.00CAD, this can be yours for $5 more!

I'm off to find my bright spot in a gloomy, rainy day... such is May Long Weekend on this side of the Rockies.

With April comes Spring!!

I'm still on my hiatus from social media, but I have to tell you about these April specials!

First of all, Grab Bags!! CTMH has had some amazing products in the past that got retired, and I definetly did shed some tears when those products did retire. However, they've always replaced it with even better items so not all was ever lost.

But now even better, they're going back and making some of those retired items available through
Grab Bags! Each has a mix of new and old, so you never know what you'll get.

This is only available to orders placed through an OBA, so in this case, you'd have to order through http://stampedbyhand.ctmh.com to qualify for one. How to qualify? Just put any full priced item - this excludes any sale and Studio J in your shopping cart and you're good to go! They range from $55 CAD up to $160, but this means you get a value of $75 - $355 in each Grab Bag that's available. They change every day.

Secondly you are now able to order from Seasonal Expressions 2! I'm going to have to get my hands on that super cute coffee cup set featured on Page 15.

Last, but not least the April SOTM is Typed Note

I featured this SOTM in a thank you card I did earlier for a friend - http://stamped-by-hand.blogspot.ca/2014/10/its-always-nice-to-say-thank-you.html and there were lots of layers involved! What's your vice? Mine's foam tape; I'd die without it! I love how classic this set is!

It's snowing and cold, hope you are all staying warm!

March SOTM and Constant Campaign

I'm taking a break from social media, but I wanted to tell you about some exciting things that are happening in March and a bit of sad news. We'll start with the sad news first - Seasonal Expressions 1 expires at the end of March! If you want to order anything from that catalog or even the super cute set on the back cover which benefits Operation Smile, you have until March 31 to order.

But all is not lost... Seasonal Expressions will be available to order from starting April 1st! You will not be disappointed!

Now I have a craving for summer strawberries I need to fix...

Secondly, March's Constant Campaign is Recruiting on a Roll. Love our products so much? Want to earn free product and more? This is the time to sign up as a Consultant!!

While supplies last, new consultants will get that beautiful shoulder tote for free along with an awesome New Consultant Kit full of goodies and you can also earn your way to the amazing rolling tote. Contact me if you have any questions!

Now with this campaign, I can't ignore my faithful customers, so for the month of March, if you order at least 25$ of product or more, I will include a random embellishment pack with your order. You all are the reason I am still selling this amazing product!

Thirdly, March's Stamp of the Month is Choose Happy!

With a qualifying order of $50 CAD, you can get this beautiful set for only $5.00! I'm loving the font they chose for the sentiments and those frames could go around any of the other smaller images that you have to make your cards or scrapbook layouts really pop out!

Hope you are enjoying this brief Spring weather that has shown up; I hope it lasts a few extra days!

Only half a year later...

But I finally got my other Father's Day card done!! Hubby had a chance to stop by Denmark to visit with the in-laws last month and so I'm scrambling to get all my ducks in a row for cards to give to the family. And now, of course, I'm playing post-catch-up.

Additionally some exciting news - it's National Stamping Month! Which means it's time to celebrate with another stamp set. With a minimum order of $30.00. you can get the below set free:

This exclusive C-Sized stamp is only available during the month of September (value of $15.25) ! Congratulations to Jeanette Lynton for bringing us 30 Years of CTMH!

And of course the stamp of the month is Family is Forever

 This beautiful set is yours for only $5.00 more with a qualifying purchase of $50.00. So if you happen to have $50.00 worth of an order, not only do you get this cute stamp set for $5.00 more but you also qualify for the free stamp set above!

This one I'm not sure where the inspiration came from. I might have started with this: Case Study Challenge 202 : Shari Carroll but then veered well away from it.

I wanted to do some more embossing with my Cuttlebug and the awesome CTMH folders that came out not too long ago. I thought the Quatrefoil Embossing folder was pretty masculine. As well I'm just starting to sink my teeth into distressing. I'm still balling up little things of paper towel to use as embossing tool (take note, anything is possible to transfer inks with) but hope to move to daubers later on. Distressing with various colors will have to make an appearance at the Christmas workshop!

I brought the pattern behind the tools on the front to the inside of the card and distressed around the card with Barn Red. What can I say, this card made itself - I just simply fiddled with things.

Other:
* Cream cardstock
* Brads
* Black Sharpie Pen

CTMH:
* You're The Best Set - retired
* Timberline Level 2 paper pack - retired
* Barn Red Ink
* Blue / Green Epoxy Adhesive Bubbles
* Quatrefoil Embossing Folder
* Ponderosa Pine Ink

It's a lot chillier these mornings!
